Boys vs Girls....equal field of play??

RAD,

When the N.H. team saw they couldn't touch the Antelope Valley pitching (had never seen
pitches that were moved around with speed, etc.) the attitudes came out big time.
A lot of thrown bats and helmets in dugout area. They just beat another all-girl team last
night by a 3-2 score....the 1B got tossed for saying something to the umpire while on
defense no less ( he had been called out on 3rd strike previous inning and before walking
back to dugout pointed to outside corner with his bat and took an extra long time to leave.

The physical dominance that most coaches are worried about happened during this game
when a male player lined a "rocket" back to the female pitchers knee......team coach wanted
to stop/forfeit game but to her credit the pitcher begged to continue after a 45 min break and
ice rehab. At 16-18 the boys are definitely a lot stronger than the girls and injuries will happen
as more teams see the advantage......

We play them tonight in a rematch since we lost a 8 inning game yesterday to a good team
from Stockton, CA. In answer to your CHANTING question....they seem indifferent to it.

More to come I'm sure...
