Hi Mike, Remember that there's more to pitching than the battery, Rest is 5o% of all training. For the Sake of arguement, IF his arm holds up he'll probably BURN-OUT, then he might not like playing anymore, I feel that if you plan on doing battery work that long then, my answer is don't push. Put yourself in his shoe's. Lessons are fine don't get me wrong. But even his instructor will probably suggest against it. Too much of a good thing can somtimes end up being bad. Be patient. Gordon
