Legally, you're right, but...

I have always had the idea that when a league signs up with Little League and becomes sanctioned by Little League then that league is permitted to use the Little League logo and other trademarked terms owned by Little League. They may use those terms in newspaper articles, flyers, etc.

No what I do not understand is how can Little League now say that they can not be used on a web site. The web site is simply another media (like the newspaper) which the league could use in much the same way that they have used newspapers in the past.

What am I missing.
