Inbounding rule

By: Tony
Add to Mixx!

This is not a league to league rule it is a basketbal rule. The only time a player can move along the baseline while inbounding the ball is after a made basket. He is able to run the length of the baseline although he still only has five seconds to get it in. A couple of interesting points: The ball can also be passed from one player to another along the baseline, out of bounds. This too is only after a made basket, and the five second count DOES NOT reset. Also, it is okay if the inbounder steps on the out of bounds line, he is not on the court until he steps over the line.
